Julia Ravensmyth

Julia is a lifetime artist and craftsperson and has studied many mediums including drawing, sculpture, jewelry, metalsmithing, lapidary, fiber arts, and most recently ceramics. In 2005 Julia joined the team at Bronzesmith Fine Arts Foundry and has enjoyed 18 years of honing her production and metal skills as a metal finisher with an outstanding "family" of artisans creating timeless bronzes. In 2021 Julia was introduced to James Johnson and Joseph Evans. After discussing the Indigo Turtle process Joseph convinced Julia to put her skills together and give it a shot. With James and Joseph's guidance and encouragement, and hours of continuous practice, Julia learned the process and put her own spin on James' classic designs. The results are 100% handcrafted jewelry with the outstanding Indigo Turtle quality and  new designs, motifs, and colors!
