James Johnson has been working with ceramics for nearly 40 years. The originator of Indigo Turtle and Master Jeweler has spent the years figuring out exactly what their customer is looking for. Many prototypes and test runs later, James has created a following for his art, and a desire for his jewelry. Today James is on the "Downward Departure" out of Indigo Turtle as the only artist and sole business owner and pushing his apprentices to take on the larger portions of the shop. James will continue making product for Indigo Turtle well into his retirement.
